About Aaron Pellot

I have spent my career as a media creative seeking unique ways to construct effective intercommunity dialogue. Intersectional perspectives are a pivotal aspect of my work, whether in my writing, photography, as a speaker, or overall community engagement.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, my formative years were spent in South Carolina. I continued to move around the United States after I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, SC. After time in Connecticut, New York City, and Los Angeles, I earned my master’s degree in peace and justice at the University of San Diego.

My photography is usually spent in the streets and in gracious community spaces worldwide. My professional work also ranges from portrait sessions, event photography, and wedding photography. My style is documentary storytelling, always looking for the moments in the spaces communities pass through. My 10+ years across national media, combined with my studies and interest in community perspectives, allow me to present unique storytelling across various forms of media.
