About Aaron Pellot

I have spent 10+ years as a media creative, seeking unique ways to foster effective intercommunity dialogue and help present more diverse stories. Intersectional perspectives are central to my work, whether in my writing, photography, public speaking, or community engagement. I work to connect communities and organizations while creating more meaningful storytelling.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, my formative years occurred in South Carolina. After being awarded my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, SC, I spent time in my career moving around the United States. My career spans stints in Connecticut, New York City [again], and Los Angeles; I earned my Master’s Degree (Peace and Justice) at the University of San Diego.

I usually spend my time photographing streets and community spaces worldwide. My professional work ranges from portrait sessions to event photography, including concerts capturing artists from around the world, and wedding photography. I capture in a documentary style of storytelling, always looking for the intimate moments happening in the chaotic world. Now residing in Singapore, I work to present global perspectives through a variety of platforms.
